Acai Bowl and Acai Smoothie Recipes

There are several places in California and on the island of Oahu in Hawaii that are frequented by pro surfers who eat Acai Bowls religiously for the natural power they contribute and the their appetizing taste. Acai Bowls and Smoothies are great ways to start the day since they contribute a rush of antioxidants your body will enjoy. If you are a bodybuilder, using Acai Bowls or Acai Smoothies are great ways to include, consume and deliver whey protein powder.

You can change the recipes to suit your taste. Some citizen prefer a sweeter taste and add more honey.

Homemade Yogurt Ice Cream

Recipe for Dr. Tim's healthy Acai power Bowl

Ingredients:

4 oz of Dr. Tim's Juice Acai Juice
8 whole strawberries or blueberries (frozen)
8 slices of bananas (frozen)
1/2 cup of organic apple juice (you can substitute soy milk or yogurt)
1-2 tablespoons of organic honey (sweeten to taste)

Optional health Boosters:

1 oz of Dr. Tim's Goji, Noni or Mangosteen Juice.
1 small scoop of whey protein powder (for bodybuilders)

Toppings:

1/2 cup homemade granola
8-10 slices of banana

Cooking Instructions

1. Mix Acai, frosty strawberries and bananas, honey in a blender until finely chopped.

2. Pour into bowl and sprinkle bananas and granola

Below is the formula for Dr. Tim's healthy Acai Smoothie

Ingredients:

4 oz of Dr. Tim's Juice Acai Juice
8 whole strawberries (frozen)
8 slices of bananas (frozen)
1/2 cup of apple juice (you can substitute soy milk or yogurt)
1-2 tablespoons of organic honey (sweeten to taste)
1/2 cup sherbet ice cream

Optional health Boosters:

1 oz of Dr. Tim's Goji, Noni or Mangosteen Juice.
